Kate joined the Jubilee staff in June of 2008, but her history with Jubilee began over ten years ago.  Through Saint Michael and All Angels Episcopal Church, Kate was introduced to Jubilee during its beginning stages.  She originally came as a summer volunteer just looking to complete her required community service hours, but found in her a true love for Jubilee and all that it encompassed.  She continued to volunteer throughout High School, until she graduated in May 2002.  She then followed her heart to the mountains of Colorado where she attended the University of Colorado at Boulder.  She graduated in 2006 with a degree in Spanish for the Professions and Business Administration.  After earning her Bachelor's Degree, she traveled to South America where she taught English and traveled.  Upon returning to Dallas, she was all too delighted to rejoin Jubilee as The Volunteer Coordinator, and now Development Associate.  She has found her passions in nature, traveling, other cultures, and children, especially those from the Jubilee neighborhood.
