About us
Our Story and Our Mission
Jubilee Park & Community Center was founded in 1997 as a collaborative initiative led by Saint Michael and All Angels Episcopal Church, in partnership with AmeriCorps, Habitat for Humanity, and the Greater Dallas Community of Churches. It began as an effort to revitalize a 62-block area in Southeast Dallas, historically isolated from resources. The neighborhood, once deeply affected by industrial closures and infrastructure changes, needed support to rebuild.
Today, Jubilee Park is a thriving place-based community organization, serving over 3,000 residents annually. Our mission is to be a catalyst for comprehensive community revitalization and enrichment in Southeast Dallas. We are deeply committed to listening to our neighbors, with programs designed based on resident feedback to meet their evolving needs.
